INSTALLING THE GROUND STAKE
- Dig a hole in the ground approximately 4” wide by 7” deep. When working with soft soil, use a rubber mallet to drive the stake into the ground.
- Place the fixture in the center of the hole.
- Use a level to ensure the top of the stake is 2” above the ground and that it is level vertically.
INSTALLING ON DECK APPLICATIONS
- Use three #10 x 2” round head stainless steel deck screws (not included) to mount the fixture base to wood or composite deck material.
- Position the motion sensor in the direction which traffic regularly approaches.
